Re: Scientology

Ah so there is a pattern then I see... It isn't the religion itself but the deeds of the individual that should be looked at

Re: Scientology

And that to me is the core prinicple of interfaith unity

Its my opinion though, that you simply can't make a religion up over a bet. As is the case of Scientology.

Re: Scientology

the only beneficial parts of $cientology are those parts that LRH took from other, established, psychological paradigms and systems. there is *nothing* original to $cientology that is beneficial. all of which is documented by the real doctors that LRH used to develop Dianetics.

Tom Crui$e credits $cientology for helping him overcome his dyslexia and thus become a successful actor. i think that is the fallacy of affirming the consequent and Tom would have been a successful actor anyways. i really enjoyed Top Gun and Legend whereas movies like Mission Impossible left me uninspired by his acting.

of course this is an old drum to beat for me....

for any $cientologist reading this... remember what LRH said about the Tech? remember how he said that the Tech was free? the RTC owns the Tech now... and changed it! they charge for the Tech! the squirells have control of the Orgs now, just check out the RTC board!! three former IRS executives that for years blocked $cientology from tax-exempt status are now, along with three others, the owners of *all Tech*!!

metta,

~v

Re: Scientology

Vajrad lol what is with all the '$' signs are you legion? lol. And the "tech" that is sold in scientology is like the bs, blessings, prayers, baptisims and other "services" which other religions supply. Replace tech for services... Majority of religions are tax exempt money making con artists... Selling you insurances you don't need.

Wil PM: I don't think they should be allowed to -ban- scientology... Where is freedom? If that is what people want to follow then that should be allowed... If the country was to ban islam, christianity or another religion that would cause outrage of human rights being violated! Right? To me I think they're all bs.... And there is just the same amount of truth/accuracy/whatever in scientology as any other...

It is simply not just to ban one religion, they all have the same face value lol You can't, simply can't say "You are NOT allowed to believe this!!!"

Re: Scientology

The state has a responsibility to protect its citizens. Scientology isn't disliked simply for being an American organization. They take alot of things into consideration as apply to everything else. You cant get a more politically correct country then Germany, espeically after what happened there in the second world war.

Re: Scientology

Cults can be characterized.... They also been characterized in mainstream religions as well but not usually as abusive as NRM (New religious movements).

PM, could you please explain how the theory of evolution, a scientific theory that described how life evolved and diversified over billions of years on the Earth, played a role in Nazi Ideology?

Is this a knock on Darwin, or just an example of people misusing science or technology?

Re: Scientology

Does that fact that Hittler was trying to ethnically cleanse the human race not obvious to this?

As a wiki researcher i'll point you in the right direction.

Nazi eugenics - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

http://www.csustan.edu/history/facul...intohitler.htm

The guy that came up with Eugenics was related to Darwin, the ideas go hand in hand.

I actually believe the origin of species and Eugenics to be valid I just don’t use them to support occultic ideology.

What are you proposing here? Are you merely implying that people misuse science and technology for selfish and destructive aims?

Or are you attempting to invalidate evolution?

Re: Scientology

I would say that the use of Eugenics to prove homosexuality is a occultic.

BBC News | SCI/TECH | A finger on sexuality

And just to disprove those that from the previous threads who assumed Im Gay just because of my promotion of hetrosexuality, my ring finger is significantly bigger then my index.. Though this still holds no weight for me regardless.
