Stupid question?
It seems to me there's 2000 word limit on posts - a tragedy for all windbags. Is that right?

Re: Stupid question?
There is? That's something I never would have found out on my own.

Re: Stupid question?
I found this out, naturally, being a chronic wind-bag. I just split XL posts into two segments. LOL
Moved to Feedback forum, where it is a better fit.

Those who use more words than needed to be said, are trying to sell you something.

Re: Stupid question?
yep. I had this conversation today at work. Some people talk just to hear the sounds of their own voice. And yet, trying to get a conversation out of some people is like pulling teeth....... I like that saying.... (i probably have it wrong) but its about not saying anything and be thought a fool rather than speak and be proven correct....... (?) oh, you know what I mean. Ill stop babbling now.......

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt.
It's a new tack to get flow back.

Re: Stupid question?
Dear Hackers of the World:
Please conspire to make it so that bulletin boards limit the length of posts for new members. It would be cool if new members started off with some post length limitation that grew over time as they showed interest in the forum.
Thanks sincerely,
Dream
PS. Please be good.

*Ahem*...I resemble this remark.
Yes, I suffer from chronic long-windedness. But I can happily say I am not in the habit of trying to sell anything...for money that is. Perhaps my point of view, but I do allow the "buyer" the discretion to take it or leave it. In that sense, aren't we *all* selling something when we post here? (Some are just better salespersons?)

What else do we have? The OF Corral has been so...quiet...without Flow.
