Is submit the right translation? The word submit implies that you are forced to do so wear as it is quite obvious that we were given the gift of free will, so as we would know right from wrong and good from bad.....So therefore I think surrender would be a more suitable translation for we are making the choice to be Muslim or not and that choice isn’t forced upon us for those things can't be forced.......I'd be interested to hear your opinions on this matter for translations have been horribly incorrect in the past and I believe their can be a better word used rather than submit mainly because of the image in implies (a image which is not Islam)............Thanks for your time I hope you find this a interesting thread for a while.......................Staffy
