I, for one, am glad you keep coming back Thomas. I've learned a lot from your posts here.
Anyway, I was thinking that rather than sub-divide Christianity or any other religion (because then it always becomes a matter of what, exactly, is 'orthodox' or 'traditional'), maybe we could do with a Theology Subforum. One of the subforum rules would be that pot-shots that attempt to divert the conversation would be removed.
I agree that there should be a place, or a way to designate a thread for discussion, so one can stay on topic and not have to defend against any and all off-topic criticisms.

Re: Support of CR
Nick A,
I want to commend you for your positive decorum in our discussions from about a month ago. Everyone should be ready to agree to disagree, without taking it to the point of making attacks on the ideas being disagreed on, nor on the person speaking the ideas. Alas, some people are not willing to keep their coments at such a high level.
But you are. I would like to acknowledge the high level of respect that you display when discussing ideas you do not agree with.

Long overdue response, Quahom, but if I were casting a Passion Play, you'd be Peter to my John — and as a Tiberian, that's not said lightly.
I reckon Peter was man enough to take the knocks for us, that we might learn the lesson ... don't say much, but when he do, listen up!

Peter, heh, Peter. Well, I am good for one liners. I gotta tell my family about that. Maybe (seriously), I should watch my mouth. Peter tended to get spun up...But I do know what I know, so that must be taken into account as well. I bet I could walk on water too, if needed...
Thanks Thomas.
