I thought it might be helpful, especially for those of us who are non-Muslims, to perhaps consider what beautiful literature has emerged from such Islamic/Sufi thinkers of old such as Ib'n Arabi or Rumi. So I'll seed this thread with this wonderful piece by Rumi rightfully entitled "A Community of the Spirit:"
