The Blessings of Ostara/Eostre to you!

To those who ceelbrate it, that is.

We celebrated on Saturday - good people, good food, great drumming and dancing, building energy to ground into the Earth to support Her fertility.

Nice. Your celebration definitely sounds like it was a good time. I'm beginning to delve into some "pagan" explorations myself. I had the good fortune to have the day off today (Monday, March 20th, Vernal Equinox) and decided to walk a labyrinth that is here in town. When I went in, it was still winter, but when I came out, it was spring! It was a powerful experience that involved some chanting, casting my first circle(!)--in the center of the labyrinth, invocations, prayers, and offerings to the elements and the Goddess, followed by meditation and visualizations.

I'm looking forward to connecting with other Pagans in this area. I would expect that rituals are much more powerful when done in groups, based on other spiritual experiences that I have had in groups in the past.

Thanks for this thread.

I have no idea just where Pullman is in Washington State, but I do know that there are active Covenant of the Goddess groups in Washington.

you might want to check out www.cog.org and look at the local councils page.

Bright Blessings to you!

One of the best networking websites for Pagans is http://www.witchvox.com

They list individuals, groups, events, stores, etc. for pretty much anywhere in the world you can think of. They also routinely check that entries are still active and remove ones that don't have valid email addresses or web links. And it's all free.

Thanks, bgruagach! I had momentarily forgotten witchvox.

And how was your Spring Equinox celebration (if you celebrated)?
