The New Message from God

I am curious if anyone here has heard of, or has any experience with, the New Message from God. It is a modern religious movement, which I have been practicing and studying for some time. I am interested in discussing the New Message and hearing people's experience of it.

I've never heard of this either.

I'm curious to find out how God sends his new message these days.

You figure Moses was given stone tablets and Joseph Smith was given metal plates. I imagine that God might give the person to receive his message a new laptop or maybe a flash drive.

Thank you for the welcome. I haven't posted here since '04, and it's a whole new site now! I suspect there are other practitioners of the New Message who are lurking. Perhaps we can draw them out.

I'll try to give a brief explanation of this vast teaching. Here goes:

The New Message describes itself as a warning, a blessing and a preparation for the protection and the advancement of the human family.

Central concerns to the New Message are the converging thresholds of: humanity depleting its fundamental natural resources (like soil, fresh water and fossil fuels) and coming into contact with other intelligent life in the universe. The former is often referred to as the "Great Waves of Change" and the latter is "humanity's emergence into the Greater Community."

Some of the spiritual practices of the New Message from God are stillness meditation; focused contemplation; periodic review of one's health, relationships, providership, and spiritual development; and bringing life decisions to Knowledge.

Knowledge, in the New Message, refers to the deeper mind within each person, the mind connected to God, the mind that knows with certainty, the mind that sometimes manifests as conscience or deep intuition.

The practices of the New Message are largely to discover and connect with one's God-given purpose in life, and to build a bridge to Knowledge, learning to trust it, abide with it, and be a vehicle for it in the world.

The New Message is being received as spoken word, from God's Angels, through the mouth of MV Summers. Perhaps this is similar to how Mohammad received his Message, or what Moses heard from the burning bush. Unlike those times, however, it now gets captured on an audio recorder. From there it's often transcribed and published online or in books.

There have been over 750 of these recordings so far, from 1983 through today. They are not all available, but more and more every year. And yes, many of them have wound up on laptops and flash drives!

Call me skeptical, but I find it odd that we would have such of a need for concern against any alien invasion. We are doing pretty crappy fighting amongst ourselves, much less some extraterrestial race.

In the second place, their Declaration of Human Soveriegnty is in tone with the U.S Declaration of Independence, couched in terms such as "We, the People of Earth" and "Therefore, we hold that all individuals in all worlds are created equal and are endowed by the Creator with sacred and inalienable rights." Sound familiar?

But as we anticipate such an invasion, we can be rest assured that we will have assistance from our "Allies" from the "Greater Community". We can resist this force that the "Allies" call "the Collectives" (it is not futile). Collectives do not value human freedom (and neither does the Borg).

The basic Message can be found in a couple of books: "The Allies of Humanity Book One" and "The Allies of Humanity Book Two". Apparently, the first book is offered free online. But you will have to buy the second book (on Amazon for $11.21). How's that saying go? "The first one is free..."

But of course, we can do our part in spreading the Message by our charitable contributions, as their Support page shows:

He gave me that "new message".... Am genuine? Or am I fake? Who decides? Does it matter? I find the more and more groups that appear with their own personal messages, and agendas defeat my concept of religion(love peace) they also defeat my seriousness in religion and I feel they make god look like an ass.......... Sorry.... Just my opinion... There are no new messages needed... There are no new gods needed..... We just need to pull our heads out and start doing something......

ok, wil, if you want to get all moral-relativism about it, but i'm pretty sure judaism's contribution to human civilisation is a matter of record. i'm not entirely sure this mv summers character has done anything other than con credulous new-agers out of their disposable income.
