I am under hypnosis by Brian's avatar, so I cannot see the black rose.

I always think of her as the Blue Dolphin Goddess. Cool as a cucumber, like our alexa.
(cool as a cucumber is considered a compliment, one who remains calm under pressure).

It looks like the hole on a pinball machine in which the pinball falls. Why do they call it a pinball anyway?

Re: the person's above you avatar
That is the Enterprise from Star Trek you're using as an avatar, hm? I've met some of the actors from the original series when I volunteered at Gen Con Gaming Convention when it was here in Milwaukee (I met James Doohan [Scotty], Walter Koenig [Mr. Chekov], the guy who played Mr. Sulu, the lady who was in the first three series, and a couple of others from the series.)

Re: the person's above you avatar
i have a series of paintings with themes like this... the one that i'm particularly fond of is depicts a knight riding past a small hillock with his lance extended towards the Lady on the hillock. her hands are extended with a ribbon that she is tying to the lance.
i can spend hours just "looking through" the painting. "looking through" is a type of Dozchen meditation, fyi.
