Re: The Test...

What did you think of the test? How did you do? Answer honestly now.

When I first took it I got them ALL WRONG! But then when I went back over them I slapped myself upside the head and said, "Well DUUHHH!" I felt so ignorant when I saw that the answers were so simple.

Re: The Test...

I got the first and fourth questions right, for the bonus question I thought, "Why would a blind man need to buy a pair of sunglasses?"

Re: The Test...

Most blind people wear sunglasses to hide there eyes so they don't feel embarrased by it. At least, thats what I know.

Re: The Test...

My sister wore glasses as her eyes disturbed others and made them self conscioius when talking to her...sunglasses hid the differences and allowed others to act and think 'normally'. She also enlightened me to the fact that drive up ATMs have braile on them for when she or her fellow sight impaired drive up to them in a cab.... takes the wind out of a bunch of stand up.

However while driving her around San Francisco she would say...Look to the right as soon as we finish this block there should be a fantastic view of the bay and the Golden Gate.... She lived in town for years while 'sighted' and as she lost her sight (due to diabetes) she rode in cabs often when she could not see well, the combination allowed her to identify sounds, smells, and the hills and know where she was, the sun on her arm told her it was a clear day, and she would play blind tour guide, showing us the 'sights'!

As for the test, I only missed one. Because I had 'seen' them all before. I missed one as my memory lapsed and I wasn't careful. Of course isn't that what all 'test' results are, a culmination of experience and memory?
