To the God

Oh, the God let me know to what community you belong.
And what community you prefer to be called as of yours?

To what religion you have given the authority to be true,
And allowed to call all others heathens and damned?

With what rituals and ceremonies you like to be pleased,
And to avoid your wrath what must not be performed?

On your land where I have to pray and where not,
In what shape of temples or what type of mosques?

What types of prayer leaders I have to follow,
Many claim that only they are aware of right path?

Are you God of divisions and not the God of all humans?
Not the God of universe but God of pilgrimage lands?

Do you prefer a group of humans over all the rest?
And their ways or kind of worship you hold the best?

Oh my lord I pray you in my heart, sometimes silently and sometimes in my words. Have I to learn special words and special language? My lord, forgive me if it is so because it seems burdensome to me. I ask your favors very humbly, very sincerely, spontaneously as it comes to my mind, not observing the sacred manners or uttering sacred words; yet I hope you are equally mine as you can be to anyone else. None else is my lord, to none else I shall bow and from none else I shall beg, no matter you accept me as yours or not.

YHWH, JHVH, Elohim, G-d, Allah, Holy Spirit, Father/Mother God, Great Spirit, Mother Earth, Universal Consciousness, Divine Mind, Krishna, Spirit within and with out, the I am that I am, for all you are, whatever we call you, I am grateful to live and breathe in your being.

I am grateful for the all the blessing that this universe is.

For the hundreds of thousands of places of worship that we have built to know you better. It is just but for me to understand

For all the ways we have discovered that you connect to us, through prayer, enlightenment, meditation, fasting, contemplation, intercession, illumination, ritual, and more. It is just but for me to listen.

I am grateful you let me decide to dance, beg, prostrate, bow, look up, look in, that you allow me to find my way to find you, and no matter how or where I look, you are there. It is just but for me to see.

Here in the US, we are coming up on a day of thanksgiving. And every day, I thank you for giving. For giving me the people, for speaking through them. For giving me lessons, in the events which occur around me. For allowing me to grow as I choose, painfully or easily; and when I choose yesterday, today or tomorrow.

thank you, thank you, thank you.

and so it is.

Let it not be extinguished in the open sky.
Let my heart be fire,
my body burn with magnetism
to attract You in all Your finite forms and
unspeakable unity.

You are not above me, but all around
me and my friends. You are
The Friend. Embrace me,
consume me, fold me,
Kill me
so that I may become You.

You wanted to live and breathe,
so we breathe.
We want to return to You,
not as trascendent light,
but As We Are,
for isn't this Your wish? That the Divine descend
to rise again
like a bird
like man
like the earth
united,
untied, unbound, unchained,
dancing in the
Rhythm
of Love.

Thank You.
I want to thank You
now, then, in the future.
I want to unite these Sparks
into Flame,
and become even more subtle--
the Flame
perhaps
exploding
in Grace.
