"Tulpas" is the Tibetan word for those elemental beings I spoke of earlier. Tomberg speaks of them in the chapter on the "Devil" card of the Tarot. See MEDITATIONS ON THE TAROT A Journey Into Christian Hermeticism.

That Devil (on the Devil card) is not really Lucifer or Satan, it is in fact of the making of the two individuals portrayed in chains. Valentin explains that it is an Elemental being.

We can see that some of the "ghosts" in Ghostbusters were not human spirits, but elementals- that fat green one is an example- probably Gluttony.
(Dan Ackroyd was really interested in psychic phenomena.)
