mythbusters counts as a tv series?? Hmm OK then add

Dog Whisperer to my list.... I was thinking more of drama/entertainment than documentary/factual.

I watch none of them, oh occasionally I'll catch one. Saw a honeymooners last month, and Monk the month before that... can't think of the last time I saw most of them, but these are my all time favs.

I like to catch Last Comic Standing, and America's got talent. Other than that it is Discovery, History, Public Television, Cage Fighting or Hold'em.

Callan (a long time ago, and in a league of its own)
The Ascent of Man (ditto)
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy (ditto)

More recently:
Dr Who
Heroes
(and sci-fi generally)

Spooks
(and spy-fi generally)

Band of Brothers

Hill Street Blues
NYPD Blue
Just about any CSI — but not Miami

Almost any and every comedy, but notably:
Absolutely
The Fast Show
Fry and Laurie
Armstrong and Miller
QI
Fifteen Stories High
8 out of 10 cats

and, ah, those were the days ...

Monty Python
At Last, The 1948 Show (precursor to MP)
Beyond the Fringe
Not Only ... But Also

And anything, absolutely anything, during my, er, formative years, featuring Madeline Smith ... and to this very day, I still have an ... actually, no, forget I said anything...
