wow, dayaa, you're not asking much.
you should be able to find the answers to much of this on http://www.jewfaq.org which is a reliable and open-minded site. have a read there and then come back and ask some more specific questions. re your question 3, this is a quite involved question which requires some knowledge of the various sects and denominations as well as different opinions on the nature of the soul. suffice it to say that it's complicated and advanced and by no means agreed upon by all. b'shalom bananabrain |

hello/shalom
thank you for the site. now i know where to look i will go and try to understand some basics first then come back with questions. sorry if my questions were a bit "uneducated"....but that's exactly what i am  . i know very little about judaism except from the "wrong" perspectives and i am trying to broaden my outlook. it's very difficult to know where to start. thanks for pointing me in the right direction
