Or put him in a lead box and send him into space to suffer billions of years without a feed. Then again one could just join him – all those virgins sound like great fun! In fact the whole lifestyle could be fun – shame its not like in the movies.



Only joking btw, I am well aware of the real nature of evil and I don’t like it at all, in real life there is nothing funny about it, dark people seam to think it is but they are torn apart spiritually – evil destroys itself!

i only have perceptions of heaven & hell. i can see it all 4 different ways & then some. i think they are both real in many ways. i have not been to either as a place outside of NDE & the experience of others on this, but i think the spirit/soul does come from & go somewhere. i think we are seeing evil the same because it does destroy itself, yet a new evil seems to always pop up. i find hell a better one on one topic for myself so maybe we can do that some day if you like.

this is the part i find most interesting about it all. there is like a love there yet being done through some kind of search for immortality & the fiction vampire does seem like fun. on the other hand there is a twist & it seems like a lonely life.
so...
that leads me to think that someday evil gets put into a bottle or lead box & is eventually disentigrated.
so maybe I have graduated to pluralism? not sure

Yes I would like to do a thread on hell & evil generally, perhaps in the one on one debate section unless you want more members. Maybe we could invite a small group so it doesn’t get confusing. I think there is a balance of good and evil in the world, so if you stop it in one way it simply reappears in another…



Not sure if it is possible to get rid of evil! except that eventually all shall return to the one, thus there may be a transformative process for this? If its like yin & yang then attacking it would simply reduce it to its minimum, it would be smaller yet have all the power of the white side thus being more dangerous than ever – something I worry about!

I don't see where good and evil comes into this thread.... I believe you are suggesting.... Vampires are evil? They are natural creatures... if your going to go by the 'Immortal Vampire' Theory then they are just doing what they are meant to, to survive.... You do not look upon other large preditors that kill innocent defenseless pray as evil, you just shrug shoulders turn blind eye, watch with the family on a discovery channel and what not. So I would defend 'Immortal Vampires' As natural not evil. Also, Like Satan from "south park" says in his song, Without evil there would be no good, so it is good to be evil some times..." I love that song lol..... (will be stuck in my head all day now) Anyway it is an immortal thing, you will never destroy all that is good, just like you will never destroy all that is evil...

Evil is comparative yes, I believe in such a thing as natural evil; if a lion tries to eat you, then as far as you are concerned it is evil! The same applies to vampires.

I would say that the ‘art of balance’ is required as concerns evil; one should imho try to stay in the middle, yet one does not know where it is unless we sometimes act slightly to one side [either] of it. In ancient Egypt this way of being was called ‘the maat [mahat] or the feather of the balance of good and evil, once this is found we may be at peace within ourselves. I would suppose/propose that this can be mixed within the philosophy of monotheistic religions – kind of like the * ‘Tao of god’.



*Just an idea going around in my head at the moment!

some vampires could be evil & some could be good. i think that is why vampires fight over the girl. but it seems the good vampire goes back to being mortal & the immortal vampire gets killed, or something like that.

i saw part of a movie that had that in it.

Hmm. It seems to me after reading your linked article that vampires are just people with psychological problems manifesting themselves in phsyical symptoms (similar to manic depression) and social problems. I can see how believing yourself to be a vampire in this case would be comforting because you'd feel like you are special and have some kind of power that others don't have. Someone should give them all a big hug.

Not comfort so much, but a way to justify how they are feeling instead of face up to things.

So they do not have to show responsability? Well, that would be what I labeld the human living Vampire... they can be like this either from a lack of mental stability, or yes I guess they cannot face their condition. If we speak of "Real" Vampires... Then I wouldn't say they like to be called what they are... If that makes sense lol.

we may have hugged a vampire b4 & not known it. i used to look for two holes in peoples necks for proof they were a vampire, but i never seen any. though i have seen other things that make me wonder.

lol, that is kind of a 'Count Dracula' movie thing, I would say that Vampires have no scar on their throats/necks or wherever biten. It heals and dissapears... and only the cuts and scars they had before embrace remain.

My final view on this thread;

To be a Vampire is the worst thing that can happen to anyone, your fate is sealed and you allready know your worst enemy who shall make you meet your maker, and that can be yourself, as you know one day you will wish for the killing and cold blooded agression to cease. Just take a moment to think what it must be like? To have some person pinned to the floor who is begging for mecy yet you cannot stop you have to feed.... Doesn't seem a "cool" lifestyle to me.. :|

Vampires go back to the original "sons of God" in the bible. in Gensis, their is a point where the "sons of God" have "relations" with the daughters of men and produce children that are, among other thing, an abomination (soul-less) in the site of GOD i.e Giants or Nephilim.

The 1st actual vampire spawned from that blood line. (hence the unusual strength and long life spans and other un-human like qualities).

Their population grew large enough that they and humans clashed often and they actuallly began to eat humans because resources became scarace because of their greedy nature. So GOD sent a flood to destroy them.

Noah and his sons survived along with their wives.

As the human population grew so did the amount of women. So the "sons of GOD" entered the scene again a short time after noah died.
LOT had to flee soddom and gohmorah so that GOD could destroy that city, because of the Nephilim infestation. i.e. Angles sent to do the job because humans could not do it.

Notice whenever a city gets destroyed by "GOD" it is because non-humans are mixing with humans and producing things like vamps.

To make a long story short. Vamps are the deccendants of the Nephilim.

I'd heard the Lilith link before and a variation on the Nephilim one as well, then there's Wes Cravens take on Dracula- were he's Judas (intriging idea that one) I'd also heard that the first vampire was the Roman spearman who pierced Christs side on the cross, then there's the folk lore version, the Eastern myths, I think there's so many different versions I'd just say hang it all and hope I never meet one if they're real. (the Cain links a new one to me- sounds interesting tho.)
