Wayman Tisdale

Has anyone heard the Wayman Tisdale album “Way Up” I got a copy from my work UMGD. I’ve really been loving it since I’m into Jazz and Fusion. I wanted to see him live. I hear he’s awesome did anyone go to the Long Beach Jazz Festival? I hear he is on the RENDEZVOUS ALL STAR TOUR. If you happen to go let me know what you thought about it. You could also check out his website for more information. on his website Let me know what you think about it.

Re: Wayman Tisdale

Yup !

He plays gigs in Vegas once in a while when he's touring his group. But then the Maloof brothers own a hotel casino operation there (Palms) and one of the Maloofs is also the Kings owner. Bop On !!!!

Welcome to CR Dawg !

Hi and Peace to All Here

Welcome to CR, Dawg! (Or do you prefer "Toni"?)

I gave a listen--sounds good. I am not up to date on today's jazz fusion, really. At least not enough to drop many names. But there was a time when I listened to a lot of tunes by people like Chic Corea, Pat Matheney, Miles, and a few others whose names escape me at the moment.

I don't know if they would be considered jazz fusion, but is anyone here familiar with Bela Fleck? I love to listen to them, and I really like it when I have a visual.

InPeace,
InLove
