I'd never heard of NetLibrary before, visited their site but couldn't see a place where new people can sign up. I'm sure though this is just because of my inabilities with computers and the internet. Could you offer any help?

Re: What book are you reading at the moment?

I don't know how to access it privately, but I get access through my university's library. I'm "technologically hamstrung" myself (I have a couple of friends' numbers on speed-dial for whenever I have computer problems.)

Perhaps you could try setting up an account with NetLibrary through your local library.

Living where I do, that might be quite difficult. Thanks though.

or for download: http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/175

This book is part of Project Gutenberg, which means it is "public domain."

Re: What book are you reading at the moment?

I'm absolutely book mad and have an almost addictive need to abandon myself in literature several times a day, therefore I often have about 3 or 4 different reading material, each pertaining to certain times of the day.

At the moment, I'm reading 'Napoleon' by Guido Gerosa & 'The Greek Myths' by Robert Graves for daytime reading and for evening/bedtime reading, 'The Time Traveler's Wife' by Audrey Niffenegger, (imaginative & unsual).

I also love the classics and have just finished 'Silas Marner' by George Elliot (touching and subtly pro Karma!)

On this last note, this latest bit of news may be of interest, (can't post URLs here as yet....) but check out the BBC News site, under business, "Google Makes Novels Free To Print"

Rereading Dune. Haven't picked it up since I was 14 or so. Love that book, and the books that follow it. The movie I could do without.
