all mosques should really be the same...as a sunni muslim our mosques are very very simple...no statues or pictures..there are cabinets with books in suchas the Quran and maybe other books about religion..but mainly copies of the Quran....the carpet on the floor is divided up into rows of a certain specified width..i think its the size of a sheep...and the rows ahve to be filled from the front ...from wall to wall...in a masjid (mosque) the onlt think allowed to be on the walls is arabic script taht i think can be verses of the ~Quran..but definately Allahs name can be up there...apart from that the masjids are plane as distarctions take you away from prayer...when you should focus on god and noone else
