Mee, I'm curious... define "indefinite" and "infinite" ... do you really want to live forever in a colour-enhanced watchtower pamphlet?

Our best hope for peace is an impenetrable dome. It wouldn't have to be round, we could make it fit over a continent. We could have Habitrail tubes that connect to our allies in other impenetrable domes of their own. We need something to keep all the Thems out, and walls just won't do it these days. Domes for peace.

my hope is based on the bible and what it promises for those who want it.

The highway of the upright ones is to turn away from bad. One who is safeguarding his way is keeping his soul PROVERBS 16;17 keeping to the right way leads to blessings . so if we dont do that then our time will be up , thats how i see it . so it could be forever its up to us .

the answer is in the bible DANIEL 2;44
And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;
And yes Jesus will be ruling as king . his father has given him great aurthority DANIEL 7;13-14
I kept on beholding in the visions of the night, and, see there! with the clouds of the heavens someone like a son of man happened to be coming; and to the Ancient of Days he gained access, and they brought him up close even before that One. And to him there were given rulership and dignity and kingdom, that the peoples, national groups and languages should all serve even him. His rulership is an indefinitely lasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom one that will not be brought to ruin.

Putting our trust in the right ruler and the right goverment will lead to everlasting life on a paradise earth .

Its is just like what is solution of humanity i would say that is that all the religion come to one religion and believe in one God and Islam teaches all brotherhood fraternity and everything and it also tell the practical way of implementing it in our lives. This is my opinion you may or may not agree.

Hi islamis4u,
The world is a big, big, big place, with lots of different ideas on how it should be run. The "my way or the highway" point of view doesn't seem to be working at the present time, do you have any other ideas to help bring about peace?
