FAIR DINKUM!!!
If you dont like what someone has written, and you want to ignore them, just do it.
dont respond.
its not hard.
Ignore them the old fashioned way.
Or go crying to mama, your choice.
Plenty ignore me all the time, and I have ignored some as well. i know there are some ignoring me right now, yes, you know who you are. and thats fine.
JUST GIVE IT A REST OR SHOULD I CALL THE WAAAAAHMBULANCE.

Re: why cant i ignore moderators ?

Forum, community.

What is the difference?

Either way it seems to me we come, we move in, we try, we stay, we leave.

All based on what the community provides for us.

If I like what the community provides I stay and assist.

If I like most of what the community provides I stay and work from within the bounds to foment change.

If I bump heads, get nowhwere, or don't like what the community provides...I leave.

I don't understand why others choose to stay just to disrupt. Of course I don't understand hackers that create malicious viruses. And I don't understand folks that do the same in physical environments and not just virtual ones.

btw, I don't know if I am one that many would like to ignore or not...

but I have yet to use the ignore feature on anyone... I find my eyes and mouse have the ability to gloss over or move beyond those posts or folks that prattle on on whatever...

My keyboard also has a delete key. Just like my TV can get different channels, my internet can get different forums, can't understand why some are stuck here...another thing I don't understand.

There is just a lot of stuff I don't understand.

Re: why cant i ignore moderators ?

Creating viri is nothing like this...

I for example stay here (for the time being) because it is just a habit I hae got stuck into. *shrugs* I most likley disrupt, I guess most of the time I don't mean to, it's just boredom.... And without that "motivation" to make me look elsewhere I kinda just hang around.

Perhaps that is the same for others to.

it is only disrupting because any comments or suggestions not liked here are viewed that way. There are 4 people here saying the same exact thing about some of the mods being obnoxious & out of line. This is not acceptable feedback. Now, if those 4 people post -All the Mods are great & do no wrong, CR is heaven with streets of gold-, then that is acceptable feedback.

What people have suggested here are all perfect suggestions & I do not view them as disrupting. On the other hand I know this place well enough to know that making a complaint or any kind of feedback not liked is not heard & is a waste of time, which is why I would never bother starting a feedback thread but the newer people have yet to learn that.

You just like to have a good time at whatever it is you are doing. I view it as cheap entertainment.

Now I would think that as the owner was willing to ask, this is an indication that it matters.

I could see where one would prefer to PM and not respond in an open forum. But complaining there is an issue and than deciding not to detail the issue when asked.

This seems counterproductive for the rant. Lack of response is an indication to me that the complaint was not valid and just venting in the first place.

Which to me seems out of place for you.

i think their feedback & suggestions are very valid & I agree with them & would definately put a couple of mods on ignore, but at the same time...
there will always be issues, the same old issues as they ever were. the lack of response is because i already know -it is what it is and no matter how much i respond to the king and the kings men, it will remain what it is- & I accept what will never change. and I said, that I dont care how this place is run or not run. I explained that unliked feedback is not acceptable here & I know this from experience. That is what I am indicating.

You claim that none of us listen to feedback - and yet when SacredStar was a prolific poster on the Christianity board, you were appealing for help in keeping the board more Christian-focused - something I certainly helped address after requests from yourself and others.

And yet now you claim that no one ever listens to feedback raised, and I will contest that.

I ask for specifics - you can't provide any - so you just fall back into general invective - and that's not feedback.

you did that because you were personally also fed up with SS & everyone complained about that including yourself. stop trying to charge me alone with that crap as you listening.

I ask for specifics and you cant provide any.

Namaste Bandit.

I'm seriously confused. First over the years I've appreciated your input and discussion. I've enjoyed our conversations and look forward to continuing to do so.

But your continuing without offering some constructive solutions and specifics on your problem gets us nowhere and provides exactly the situation you indicate you'd like to eradicate.

If you were to say, I have a problem with X and the way s/he does things, and I have a problem with this rule and the way it is administered.

And if those things were not addressed, discussed, modified. You'd have a valid argument and more ammo than you need to actually state your case.

But this tit for tat does not fit my perception of you.

I'm confused.
