Awaiting_the_fifth if God is so powerful why does he allow pain and death in the first place?

because the first pair wanted it , and Goddid not make us robots he gave us free will
That is why, just as through one man (Adam)sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned ............. romans 5;12.seems that Adam did not listen to the warnings did he why blame God for something that was our own doing
