In today's day and age, I find it hard pressed that many Europeans would be offended by much of anything (though France is standing on a cusp with its elections, and 85% of the populace glued to the tv screen). Maybe...there is hope yet?...there seems to be a longing for yesteryear...

I wonder as Someone is standing in front of Jesus Christ on judgement day whether they will reconsider any of this. Just things I ponder as I read through these posts.

What exactly do you think his problem would be. That 2000 years after his death the Greek abbreviation for His name was still being utilized? Or would you think that he would be apalled that we moved his birthday to compete with the winter solstice and moved the sabbath to appease worshippers of the sun god?

I can't speak for everyone, but I look forward to the hug!

Not a single word..... It will never come, if it does... I still wouldn't turn my opinion around... If you don't stick with what you believe.... What are you? I wouldn't change my view from fear nor pressure..... The only time you should change what you think and feel and stand for is, if you wish to.... Never let someone else tell you what to think.... I'd refuse to be a puppet.
Oh... Here is a perfect example....

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Private Joker, do you believe in the Virgin Mary?
Private Joker: Sir, no, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Well, well, Private Joker, I don't believe I heard you correctly!
Private Joker: Sir, the private said "no, sir," sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Why you little maggot, you make me want to vomit!
[Slaps Joker]
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: You goddamn communist heathen, you had best sound off that you love the Virgin Mary, or I'm gonna stomp your guts out!
Private Joker: Sir, NEGATIVE, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Private Joker, are you trying to offend me?
Private Joker: Sir, NEGATIVE, sir! Sir, the private belives any answer he gives will be wrong and the Senior Drill Instructor will only beat him harder if he reverses himself, SIR!
