Re: (Your) Thought of the Day

Seven thoughts for the seven day week...

1. It matters not, wether you win or lose... What matters is wether I win or lose.

2. Man is the only creature that refuses to be what he is.

3. Always acknowledge a fault. This will throw those in authority off their guard and give you an opportunity to commit more.

4. Winning is EVERYTHING, The only ones who remember you when you come second are your wife and your dog.

5. The whole world steps aside for the man who knows where he is going.

6. Hard times never last, but hard people do.

7. It's not whether you get knocked down; it's whether you get up.

Absolutely give thanks for the light. And the darkness that allows the light to do its work.

The more I walk in beauty, the less fear grips me. I have been tired, isolated, frightened, crying, and torn down by illusory separation, false walls. When I was a child of only four years, the light shone on and through dandelions going to seed. As they drifted over the hill, I knew, and the light nourished me. As I grew and the outside constructed world impinged its conditionings, I grieved, but didn't know why.

Now I know why. In this world, grief must flutter over me occasionaly and at times intensely. Immersed in its pinpoints of ignorance and pain, I even want to die. Out of that depression, with time and space to blossom in my home, I grow wings made of blooming dandelions, fierce iron, hot steam, and all the animals in my heart. Hovering over my past, zooming out into the atoms of the universe, I gain perspective, bathe in the freedom of joy, give joy and light to gain. I spiral up.

For those who play RPGs:

When the GM/DM/ST/Mod asks you "Do you really want to do that?" or "Are you sure about that?", your answer is probably, "No."

Use it or lose it.
Do not abuse it.

Some roads appear to go on forever - and then they end.
