Radio station showcases unsigned Christian bands

by David Masters

Christian radio station Premier Gospel is on the lookout for talented Christian musicians who have yet to sign with a record label.

“Live and Unsigned”, a new Saturday morning show at the station, is running a competition to find the best unsigned Christian artists in the UK.

Presented by singer-songwriter Loretta Fenton, the competition will showcase unsigned talent to a national UK audience.

Winners will be given the opportunity to perform at the Big Church Day Out festival in May.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for unsigned artists to get themselves out there and heard,” Fenton said.

“Whether you’re touring round the country or just starting out, there’s a place for you in the competition.”

Artists and bands looking to enter the competition simply need to send in their best track along with a copy of the lyrics to Premier Radio by the end of February.

Musicians wanting to find out more should visit www.premier.org.uk/unsigned.
