Who is "The Adversary" and is it a real entity?

I don't understand the debate. As you posted in the book of Luke, as well as in other books, Jesus was tempted, and spoken to, by a real entity, the devil. So it boils down to "is the bible factual or fantasy?" For if you are to believe the words of the bible, it answers your question. And...

    If Jesus had not died?

http://www.geocities.com/willow1d/amer.html I haven't even checked it out yet. This book is apparently able to be purchased. I checked Barnes and Noble once (walked in physically) and they didn't have it on their list... Good luck

    Divine Will versus Free Will

Some say the Islamic fundamentalists are generally whacko. But perhaps to the majority of Islam, they are simply doing what they are willed to do by God. So it begs the question... how can one differentiate between divine will and psychosis? Or put in terms of Christian thought, when one...

    If Jesus had not died?

If one is to believe He didn't die, then one might as well believe His entire existence was a complete sham. Remember, He predicted His death by our hand no less than 3 times. His spirit visited the apostles multiple times. He said He came here to die, and when Peter said he wouldn't allow...

Is it right to "try" other religions?

My brother is a wiccan priest. The wiccans he associate with across the US call on the powers of all kinds of pagan gods and goddesses. Another common practice of wiccans is to worship the earth as a mother goddess. Again, to a bible-believing Christian, this is idolatry. I don't frown on...

Is it right to "try" other religions?

"Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, depravity, idolatry, sorcery, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish rivalries, dissensions, factions, envying, murder, drunkenness, carousing, and similar things. I am warning you, as I had warned you...

    Divine Will versus Free Will

Every day I pray that our Father in heaven exact His divine will upon me. I have always gone as the breeze blows me, but in keeping constant communications with God, I feel confident that the breeze blows by His breath. However, I have never felt 100% comfortable going with "the flow." But...

Is Christianity too fixated with Salavation?

Paul made it quite clear what salvation requires. Love our Father in heaven with all our heart, mind, and soul, have faith in Christ as the Son of the Father, resurrected on the 3rd day, and love your neighbor as yourself. Anything beyond that, to me, is unnecessary fluff.
