Another misleading stat. My daughter loves a hot cocoa before bed. Now I know why she used to have troubles falling asleep.

Something I read earlier today that I don't know where to put

I feel like everyone should take a course on statistics. People are often misled by statistics and don't ever look deeper into them.

What is religion, and how is it a thing?

Religion represents people's opinions about what has happened, is happening, and will happen to humanity. As Wil mentioned, religion is what people often use to explain who, what, when, how, where, and why. Simply put. Religion = opinion.

Spiritual lessons for your younger self

I used to be very involved in my community and in my state. I organized or participated in so many community service events. I got to meet so many amazing people. I wish I could tell my past self that I would miss these people very much. I would tell myself to spend as much time with these...

    Anti - Semitic

But sadly people keep treating this history like some sort of a black and white issue that they think can easily be solved. In the west this remarkable story isn't even taught to us in schools. The story of Israel becoming a country again is just a long remarkable story on its own. It's such...

    HI I am new here

I'll just mention the word "politics". That ought to do the trick.

    Christian Nationalism

It is amazing how off subject we get on some of these subjects. I often have to go back to the first page to try and remember what we were talking about in the first place. Someone asks a question about Adam and Eve having a belly button and next thing I know we're arguing about pineapple...

    Happy Thanksgiving....

We had thought about turkey legs. But one turkey leg is a meal in itself. So we went with chicken wings. If our favorite football teams play each other on Thanksgiving again, I just might try these turkey wings.

DO WE NEED OUR HEAD CANONS EXAMINED?

I used to be a teacher and had to hear about books being banned in our school. Hypocrisy was all over. The amazing thing was that our school rarely banned anything. The only books we banned were books about building pipe bombs or starting your own boy band.

    Happy Thanksgiving....

We ditched the turkey this year and had a football themed Thanksgiving dinner. While we did have pumpkin pie, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and sweet potatoes we also served up hot wings. We all love spicy food and football. It was a nice change of pace from the usual turkey.

DO WE NEED OUR HEAD CANONS EXAMINED?

I had an Old King James version bible at first. It was so difficult to understand. I didn't even understand what the word "thee" meant. I kept having to look up words in the dictionary. I eventually got my hands on a New King James version. We had an encyclopedia set so I learned to use it...

    Woke Christianity

When I first heard about the woke movement it was described as a movement where people looked past political propaganda and political favoritism. They could see past biased journalism and didn't blindly trust politicians and media. They would try to get to the heart of the matter. Let me give...

DO WE NEED OUR HEAD CANONS EXAMINED?

I do miss the awe I used to have about life. When I was 3 years old I remember being amazed about thought and existence. I often wondered if anyone else was amazed that we were beings walking around having independent thought. But as kids nobody talked about that voice in their head. They...
