    Do serve God...or a 'Trinity'?

Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean” (Matthew 23:25-26). etc On my...

    Do serve God...or a 'Trinity'?

Not the issue. Will you decide what Jesus said and did not say, based in whether or not you like it? He'd surely have a go at many of the religious leaders around today, if he returned...

    Do serve God...or a 'Trinity'?

So if you decide Jesus did not make those comments, which words of Jesus will you select and which will you reject? Or was he just wrong?

Isn't this always the case -- reasonable folks caught in the war between the lunatic fringe extremists on both sides?

    Do serve God...or a 'Trinity'?

But according to the scriptures of both Islam and Christianity there can be no human inhabitants of either heaven or hell until the last day resurrection and judgement when the sheep will be sorted from the goats and the souls of men assigned to either heaven or hell? It creates contradictions...

The Archeology of the Kingdom of God: Diving a Bit Deeper into a Baha'i Approach to Metaphysics

No reason to think the universe is limited to the extent of material human senses, and the human instruments designed to extend human sense perception to electromagnetic spectrum x-rays and so on Our material reality is perhaps just the holographic surface impression of a greater reality, imo

The Archeology of the Kingdom of God: Diving a Bit Deeper into a Baha'i Approach to Metaphysics

Outside the range of our limited material senses of sight, hearing and so on, but nevertheless real. In fact the true reality that weaves our material dimension of nature. Plato's cave, imo.

    Do serve God...or a 'Trinity'?

I think perhaps @moralorel is saying (according to scripture) the souls of men are not revived to life until the last judgement? Until then the soul is in a state of suspended animation. But for that soul, no time seems to have passed since death of the body. Would time have any meaning ?

The Archeology of the Kingdom of God: Diving a Bit Deeper into a Baha'i Approach to Metaphysics

You do not accept the Quran was revealed to Muhammad (pbuh) by the angel Jibreel -- as the agent of Allah? Muhammad was just experiencing a mind state? Do you believe that intelligence exists in man alone (barring the existence of material alien species) or that entities exist, both higher and...

Yet the Pauline writings predate the Gospels? Foundational not peripheral or apocryphal, in the estimation of the Church that faithfully preserved them down though two millenia

The Archeology of the Kingdom of God: Diving a Bit Deeper into a Baha'i Approach to Metaphysics

@Ahanu Would this be the most concise definition of 'the anthropic principle' as intended here in the Baha'i context? It doesn't seem to agree with the commonly accepted scientific use of the term, as given in my post #167 Are you aware of the cosmic Fine Tuning argument, that gives rise to...

    Do serve God...or a 'Trinity'?

Well, my attitude here is that The Christ link between Spirit and nature, God and man, was begotten of Spirit before time began, and was and is therefore part of the (continuing) weaving of the temporal and physical dimension of nature by the eternal dimension of Spirit that surrounds and...

    Do serve God...or a 'Trinity'?

To carry on here: by The Bible in the context of Christian scripture, do you mean primarily the New Testament, which includes the writings of Paul? Is there a way to reconcile the writings of Paul with the Quran? Most Muslims seem to believe that the writings of Paul, and also much of John, are...

The knowledge of Jesus is part of the worship of God the Most High, for Muslims as well as Christians? But the Quran Prophet Jesus Son of Mary is a lot different from the New Testament Christ. I've no issue with Muslims venerating their Quran 'Prophet Jesus'.
