I'm also in England(Somerset) and concur with what you say about the NHS. As the population increase, waiting lists get longer. We simply need more nurses, doctors etc. Many of our trained people emigrate, because the pay is better.

This reminds me of a Dexter episode (series 3 ep 7), where Dexter euthanize a person(as she requested) by giving her a new key lime pie, injecting it with sodium thiopental. That was her favourite pie. (Afterthought, Rhetorical question: Would Dexter make a good member of this forum?)
