    Atheists on Interfaith site?

Beautifully expressed, Cino. I think your expression just about sums up my experience. I felt I knew God via the experiences I had when I sincerely began my conscious search for 'the absolute truth'. Without going into details here, my belief collapsed when I realized that, that which I was...

    Home2home

Home2home An inspiring film about Dennis Kailing (from Germany) who travelled 43,600 km (27,000 miles) through 41 countries on 6 continents to circumnavigate the planet in 761 days. He went through many places and showed a different view of those places via interacting with the inhabitants...

    The Promised Messiah(as) Has Come.

I am assuming from your profile that you are an Ahmadi Muslim. I have met many Ahmadis who all use the phrase in your profile Love for all, hatred for none . I have been to interfaith meetings at at Ahmadi mosque in the UK and met the late Khalifa (Masih IV) in the 1990s. Ahmadi or not, I think...

    Low/No Alcohol Drinks

No alcohol in Marmite. I can't tell you if it is actually hair of the dog, however a large dollop of Marmite should awaken anyone. Maybe it's a path to self-realization

    Low/No Alcohol Drinks

Thanks for the reminder. I just tried it and like it. A gentle affect on the taste buds, especially after a short walk in 90F heat. I should add that I do like Marmite, occasionally, which should not be confused with Vegemite, an Australian poor copy.

    Low/No Alcohol Drinks

I just googled it and will try it. Thanks for the tip. (I went to Ireland in 1981 and had an Irish Guinness which was something else compared to British Guinness.)

    Low/No Alcohol Drinks

@Snoopy I have never liked the taste of alcohol, even though I grew up in England where alcohol is ubiquitous. I only ever got drunk once and that was when I was 15 at a holiday resort in Italy. I completely lost my mind and found out the next day that I had broken some glasses in the café...

    Hello

@_Hermes_ Re:Also I am of the opinion that words also are magic. In Hebrew & Aramaic, “Abracadabra” is the final result of the combination of two Aramaic phrases (Aramaic being itself a Hebrew-based language spoken by the Jews 2000 years ago, in which the Talmud is written) A’bra and K’dabra...

    Quotes and Memes

A long quote :) Composed by George Harrison(RIP) We were talking about the space between us all And the people who hide themselves behind a wall of illusion Never glimpse the truth Then it's far too late When they pass away We were talking about the love we all could share When we find it...

Is There a Need for Interfaith Forums?

I hope not. I have not posted here, or anywhere, for a while, due to health reasons. However I am a regular reader here and value the really valuable discussions without falling into flame wars(like many other sites). It seems to me that the minds here have tamed away any aggressiveness and...

    The Healers

My eyes started to deteriorate about 15-20 years ago(I'm now 74), nothing too severe, but nevertheless a gradual deterioration.(Nowhere near as severe as yourself). This isn't unusual for my age, so I don't complain. I gave up driving a few years ago as it was stressing me out, mainly due to...

    The Healers

GA Badger I have a pair of those glasses. I had someone teach me the Bates method, but couldn't keep up with the amount of practice required. The Bates method, as I just found out by googling, is considered harmful by many professionals. I really have no opinion, other than that I had a few...

    The Healers

] GA Badger I agree with you globally in that we(i.e the planet and humanity) still exist; in spite of all the highs and lows etc. However there is a mass of individuals who have it bad all their lives and then die. This reminds me of a joke I heard when I was a teen.(You may know it). So...

    The Healers

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by balanced above. Do you mean here that 'these things' don't always have a positive effect?

    The Healers

A friend of mine who was a heavy smoker happened to be at someone's home who was showing a video of a Russian healer. The friend did not understand Russian, but nevertheless never smoked again. That was 30+ years ago.

Ezekiel's Atomic Wheels (and Four Living Forces)

From my early Jewish education I viewed heaven(the place where God is) , שָּׁמַ֖יִם, as singular, although it has a plural ending. The same verse has another example of this in the same verse, i.e. בָּרָ֣א אֱלֹהִ֑ים (God created), the word for created is in the third person singular.
