I might be confusing you with someone else, but I thought that you disagreed one time with saying that Jesus is a person for us to serve and obey. You don't see God as a person for us to serve and obey? By "obey," I mean do what He says whether we like it or agree with it or not.

It isn't a sure thing for me that He was resurrected physically. I'm not saying that to argue, but to say that isn't something that I agree with. I can agree that He was resurrected, and that's important for people to know, but it isn't a sure thing for me that it was in a physical body. If you...

One thing that I would like to try, if no one has any better ideas, is to make a list of things that we all agree are important for people to know. Maybe we could all agree that Jesus was a king that God promised to Israel, and that He was crucified.

Also that we can't actually know anything about the essence that makes them one, so the only meaning it can have for us is in the operations.

Well, does that include believing in Him as Master and Lord? Because that's what I want to talk about in this thread. That's why I labeled it "Master and Lord." :D And as I said, in this thread I want to talk about what we, those who believe in Him that way, agree about, not what we disagree about.
