    Moving January 26, 2021

I have not been posting lately mainly because I have been preparing to move to another city. I will continue to come here every once in awhile, but I really want to be on the Internet as less as possible, preferring to be more active offline in my new community. The new apt. I'm going to has a...

    Christmas Traditions

I get them online at Amazon. I have to really pay attention to the ingredients as many have ghee in it...but I find them.

    Christmas Traditions

I got back to my goal weight about a week ago. I see online I can still get soynog from Amazon! I almost bought it but resisted, only drinking it during holidays in general. I also almost bought more Indian sweets, but decided not to as I also only have that during the holidays.

    New Interfaith Relationships Study

I could have participated about 5 years ago when my ex-boyfriend and I were together (we are still together, but as platonic roommates). I am Hindu/Yogi and he is Catholic. That is one thing we got along well together, probably because although we are religious, we respect and even appreciate...

Are humans predisposed to believe in magic?

My guru said if you really paid close attention to your life, you don't need astrology/horoscopes as you would have a very accurate description of your life in the future...Regarding my own life, she's right.

    I love you all.

And to you as well. :)

    I love you all.

The only one that's a challenge for me is "calm", in times of moving to another city...the packing...the unpacking...settling in....ugh! However, first world problems--lol!

The Greatest Story Ever Told/Handel's Messiah

This is one of my favorite film scenes of all time--topped with one of my favorite songs of all time. I always get teary-eyed when watching this:

    Feeding the Spiritually Poor

Three out of four of my main role models are people who served the poor—especially those who are starving (George Muller, Mother Teresa, Dorothy Day); for a good reason, I have felt drawn to these people to later realize that this is their commonality. So during the summer months, I researched...

What music are you listening to?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Here is one of my favorite holiday songs: AMY GRANT Let The Season Take Wing

    Happy Winter Solstice!

That's the first thing I thought of too. :D

    Are you gods?

IMO, Soul just is; as I said before, it's the only thing that exists--and even with that in reality there is only One Soul. Life, how we know it, is an illusion, in my beliefs. Frankly, I tend to just describe my beliefs; I rarely want to explain why and definitely don't debate or argue...

    What do you look like?

So true about that. One of the biggest, most well-known lies, which helped to make the TV show Catfish more popular: Do they REALLY look like that?

    What do you look like?

Well, there can be bias/prejudice in that too. Plus, many, many people lie all the time online, so who's to know the real anybody.

    What do you look like?

I think most stalkers know and see people in real life, as it even started way before the Internet. Strangers can easily know where you live in real life.

    What do you look like?

Thanks so much for the link! Great to see what you look like. I bet you had a lot of fun times and adventures during the years...You in a band--cool!

    What do you look like?

I am a huge believer in showing what I look like in a community-like setting like this. It's nice placing the face with the words of someone you've been "talking" to for days, weeks, years, decades. I feel friendlier too.

    Are you gods?

I've never heard of "process of deification" before, and I was a Christian for about a decade (Methodist). Your raindrop/ocean description is perfect! This is what we mean by saying All is One. There is no separation in the first place (non-duality). Separation is an illusion, and what fuels...

    Are you gods?

One or the other, depending on how one lived their previous life.
