When the time comes for our physical body and spirit to disengage, I believe that it is our very own spirit that will “judge” our own self, not God.

In the bible it says that God “takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked” (Ezekiel 33:11)

If our inside does not resemble God, if we have nothing in common with God then we will not go where God is. We go to the opposite realm, the contrary realm.

As an examle, when we look at balloons, they may look outwardly the same but it is their inner quality that cause them to behave differently when released. Those with helium are lighter than air and rise. Those that have no helium have no buoyancy and sink to the ground.

What do you think ?

I think we've finally found something to agree upon.

Too bad I'm not supposed to be here.

the bible speaks about a resurrection, but for the most part that resurrection will be when those who have died are resurrected back into a paradise earth.

they will not be judged on the things they did before they died, but they will be judged on how they live their lives after their resurrection.

tthe bible tells us that the ones who are resurreced will be righteous ones, and unrighteous ones.

the righteous ones will be ones who have died faithful to God ,so it will be no big deal to carry on being faithful to God after they are resurreced

the unrighteous ones who will be resurreced willnot be used to doing things right in Gods eyes ,so they will have to learn how to be righteous in Gods eyes .

so the judging will not be for their past deeds before they died ,but it will be for how they behave AFTER
their resurrection on the earth .

death means that they have been aquitted of their sin.

Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
john 5;28-30

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. And the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds
revelation 20;12

and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
acts 24;15

And he said to him: “Truly I tell you today, You will be with me in Paradise.”
luke 23;43

the unrighteous ones who will be resurreced willnot be used to doing things right in Gods eyes ,so they will have to learn how to be righteous in Gods eyes .

The unrighteous ones will be asking the righteous, "Do you want fries with that?"

I do not believe that people decomposed bodies will be ressurected. It is scientifically impossible

they will not be judged on the things they did before they died, but they will be judged on how they live their lives after their resurrection.

Are you saying, they will have a second life on earth, some kind of reincarnation ?

the bible tells us that the ones who are resurrected will be righteous ones, and unrighteous ones.
the righteous ones will be ones who have died faithful to God ,so it will be no big deal to carry on being faithful to God after they are resurrected
the unrighteous ones who will be resurrected will not be used to doing things right in Gods eyes ,so they will have to learn how to be righteous in Gods eyes.

You know there are billions and billions of people who have died over thousands of year. From Adam to now, they will not fit on the earth.

so the judging will not be for their past deeds before they died ,but it will be for how they behave AFTER their resurrection on the earth.

?

death means that they have been aquitted of their sin.

I would think that it means the opposite

Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

I do not think, it means people come back to live physically on earth. As God's providence moves forward people in the spirit world receive the benefit of the age.
When Jesus ressurected, people from the old testament age benefited from the new spiritual level achieved during the new testament age. The same thing will happend when the Messiah come back. They will benefit form a new level of resurection.

And he said to him: “Truly I tell you today, You will be with me in Paradise.”
luke 23;43

It is interesting that Jesus did not say Heaven but he said paradise. (that is another discussion).

very true ,and Jesus also said in matthew5;5

Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth.

yes its all about that paradise earth.
it is Gods purpose to bring the earth back to paradise conditions and Jesus showed on a small scale how with power from God great things are acomplished.

even resurrecting dead ones.
but as you mentioned ,it would be a new body not the decomposed one .

but remember they are in Gods memory and he can resurrect those people, nothing is impossible for the Almighty .

Mee, this is not what I meant. Jesus told the thief on the right that tonight, he will be in paradise because of his faith. Jesus did not say Heaven because I believe Heaven will ne open when the Messiah return.

it is Gods purpose to bring the earth back to paradise conditions and Jesus showed on a small scale how with power from God great things are acomplished.

Jesus was rejected and crucified. He suffered so much during his life. I do not know what you mean by great things are accomplished.

God does not break the scientific laws He has created. What you are saying , does not make sense to me.

Let me ask you a question. How do you think humans are going to get rid of the original sin that we inherited since the human fall. Even after Jesus' resurrection, we still are born with the original sin ?

Yes, very true Jesus was rejected and put to death .

and he was sent to the earth because God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten son for us john 3;16

and Jesus was willing to do his fathers will ,even giving up his life for us .

the ransom is what it is all about .

but even more will be acomplished through Jesus, and its all to do with Jesus being given great aurthority DANIEL 7;13-14

after Jesus went back to heaven he waited at the right hand side of his father , and in 1914 his father GAVE him kingship .

and this is what Jesus will acomplish as mentioned in

1 CORINTHIANS 15;24-28

yes the earth is going to be a paradise and it will all come about because of
GODS KINGDOM with Jesus as a reigning king .

yes that heavenly kingdom is now all set up ,and Jesus has recieved his great aurthority as king of the heavenly kingdomDANIEL 2;44 DANIEL 7;13-14

but first that kingdom has got to crush manmade goverments and rulerships , then GODS KINGDOM can rule without any interference at all .

Then :)GREAT THINGS WILL BE ACOMPLISHED:)

Next, the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. 25 For he must rule as king until [God] has put all enemies under his feet. 26 As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing. 27 For [God] “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that it is with the exception of the one who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.
1 CORINTHIANS 15;24-28

The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it.PSALM 37;29

For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.PSALM 37;9

For the upright are the ones that will reside in the earth, and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it
PROVERBS 2;21

For sure God loved the world but he did not send Jesus to be rejected and killed. It has been so painful for God to see Jesus being crucified

and Jesus was willing to do his fathers will ,even giving up his life for us.

Yes he was but God's will was for him to live and start a new Godly lineage with no trace of the human fall.

the ransom is what it is all about.

Through Jesus victory, we receive spiritual salvation but the establishment of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth was delay. We are still born with the original sin and the Messiah has to come back once more.

For me the return if the Messiah will not be Jesus himself but someone that will be anointed by Jesus to complete what God and Jesus wanted to do when he came.
People, once more will have of chance to accept or reject what he brings....
It is man' s responsbility to have faith and respond to God's will.

God gave similar prophecies of Glory before the coming of Jesus. Once again the Messiah needs to be received and accepted.

The Bible said clearly that he will come like a thief in the night. Many people were prepared to receive Jesus but did not

The Bible said clearly that he will come like a thief in the night.

yes ,when Jesus goes into action it will be like a theif in the night , its best to keep awake to just where we are in the stream of time and to be responding to the GOODNEWS OF THE KINGDOM MATTHEW 24;14

Yes the goodnews about gods kingdom , with Jesus as a reigning king ,is being made known, and how we respond to that GOODNEWS is either good or bad .

it is being made known on a global scale and it is putting people on notice about it .

but how they respond will be up to the individual

it will be either GOODNEWS ,or they will reject it.

and that GOODNEWS is being made known on a global scale by
JEHOVAHS WITNESSES

MEE
:)thinks it is very GOODNEWS:)

And i like to welcome Gods reigning king JESUS CHRIST and i am part of a GREAT CROWD of others from all nations revelation 7;9-10

and i have in my hand my symbolic palm branch to welcome Gods reigning king

Was it scientifically possible for God to breathe life into clay and turn it into a human?

I am sure it is a metaphor for what happened. God is the #1 scientist.

Scientist themselves are discovering how little they know despite an acceleration in scientific discoveries.

There are many metaphors in the bible. Jewish people did not expect Jesus just to be born as a simple baby. They did not expect John the Baptist to be the return of Elijah either.

I think God is real and follow the laws and principle which is used to create the world. Are you expecting Jesus to come back on the clouds with trumpets or simply as a human like a thief in the night.

Do you believe the whole comos was created in 6 24hour days

God follows the laws? Follow? God made the laws, Soleil, and if God wants to form a human out of clay then God can form a human out of clay. How hard is that, compared to, ummmm, creating a universe?

Do I believe Jesus is coming back on the clouds? Yep. Why not?

Do I believe that the whole cosmos was created in 6 days? Yes. And here's a scientific fact for you: A day is not 24 hours on every planet in said cosmos. Here's another fact: On Earth we reckon a day as the amount of time it takes for the Earth to rotate on its axis, during which time it faces and then turns away from the sun. Genesis records that the sun, moon and stars were not created on the first day. Thus, why would you think that the days have to be 24 hours?

I'd like to stay and chat, but I've got to go; someone has to go and tell God that he's got to start playing by our rules. ;)

God follows the laws that He created including the scientific laws.

That does not make any sense. The word clouds has a symbolic meaning

So you would agree that the whole csomos was created over 6 different period or stages whatever the time it took. That what makes sens to me.

Scientists have long known how little they know. This is not something that they are just discovering.

It makes no sense if one is not willing to concede that God's power exceeds the human imagination.

I do not doubt God's power. All throughout the biblle we can see that the advance of God's providence happened through real people struggling in doing real actions, including Jesus.

Here is what I believe "meeting the Lord in the air" means

In the Bible' heaven' usually means the holy, exalted, and sinless realm which is under the sovereignty of good, while ‘earth’, its opposite, means the unholy, base, and sinful realm under the sovereignty of evil.

For example, when we say, “‘… Our Father who art in heaven …’” (Mt 6:9), we do not mean that God is located in the sky, but are referring to the holy and exalted realm of God’s existence.

Thus to “meet the Lord in the air” does not mean the physical elevation of Christians to meet Christ in the sky, but rather refers to the development of our inner spiritual qualities and us serving Christ in the world of God's sovereignty when he returns and establishes the Kingdom of Heaven on earth

The Last Days is the time of the fulfillment of the Kingdom of God on earth, therefore the prophecy that believers will meet the Lord in the air in the Last Days cannot be a literal one, because the air is not the place where the Kingdom of God on Earth, the ultimate purpose of God’ s creation is to be fulfilled.

No. God will not judges us when we die. When we die we are dead. Now when the first furits in Christ are resurrected and rule with Christ for the one thousand yrs then the Great White Throne Judgement happens and the rest are risen, then and only then are we judged. Not by God but by the frist furits in Christ. They will be the judges. They will be the Lake of Fire.

Do you think a God of love will allow them to send his children to hell for eternity ?

That's a very nice, huggy-feely interpretation, Soleil. Unfortunately, it overlooks the entire Revelation of Jesus Christ which indicates things like, oh, the sky rolling up like a scroll, great earthquakes, mountains crumbling, etc. Or maybe those are figurative earthquakes? And figurative mountains crumbling to the figurative ground? And maybe the angels were speaking figuratively when they said that Jesus would return the same way that he left (into the sky), which was figuratively similar to how Elijah was taken to heaven in a chariot of fire.

Your interpretation has too much of the scent o' theology to it for me, friend. I think I'll stick to the Bible.
