    Born
    Again

    Definition:
Being born again involves being baptized in water (“born from water”) and begotten by God’s spirit (“born from . . . spirit”), thus becoming a son of God with the prospect of sharing in the Kingdom of God. (John 3:3-5) Jesus had this experience, as do the 144,000 who are heirs with him of the heavenly Kingdom.

Why is it necessary for any Christians to be “born again”?

Godhas purposed to associate a limited number of faithful humans with Jesus Christ in the heavenly Kingdom

Luke 12:32: “Have no fear, little flock, because your Father has approved of giving you the kingdom.”

Rev. 14:1-3: “I saw, and, look! the Lamb [Jesus Christ] standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand . . . who have been bought from the earth.”

what will they do in heaven?

Rev. 20:6: “They will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.”

1 Cor. 6:2: “Do you not know that the holy ones will judge the world?”

Only persons who have been “born again,” thus becoming God’s sons, can share in the heavenly Kingdom
John 1:12, 13: “As many as did receive him [Jesus Christ], to them he gave authority to become God’s children, because they were exercising faith in his name; and they were born, not from blood or from a fleshly will or from man’s will, but from God.” (“As many as did receive him” does not mean all humans who have put faith in Christ.

Notice who is being referred to, as indicated by verse 11 [“his own people,” the Jews]. The same privilege has been extended to others of mankind, but only to a “little flock.”)
Rom. 8:16, 17: “The spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are God’s children. If, then, we are children, we are also heirs: heirs indeed of God, but joint heirs with Christ, provided we suffer together that we may also be glorified together.”

1 Pet. 1:3, 4: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for according to his great mercy he gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an incorruptible and undefiled and unfading inheritance. It is reserved in the heavens for you.”

Once again we have man made traditions. Being baptized it water is nothing but a man made ritual. Just as circumsission. Paul taught that one has to be baptized it the spirit of Christ. Jesus said my words are spirit. This is probable too hard for most to grasp. It's not the physical things that we do that makes us born again. God is spirit. Jesus is spirit. If we are to be in the image of them does it not make since that we seek spiritual things instead of physical things and rituals. Just as we do not make sacrfices (doves, sheep, lambs and such to God we make spiritual sacrifices. being baptized with the fire of God, (spiritual) cirumsicion of the heart. not the flesh is another one. Paul taught anyone can become a jew (God child) A spiritual jew. By not physicaly removing the flesh from circumcions by cricumcison of the heart. Do you think God really cares about the physical nature of man or the spiritusl nature of man?

    Darren

I know most will say OH God cares about both. God is spirit and spirit is His true image not physical. When we become in the true image of God we will be spirit. not phycial.

I must say mee, most of this is true (hence the Scripture)...But I have a problem...

The Saints will reign with Christ on Earth...Not Heaven...

"And has made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the EARTH" (Rev. 5:10).

yes it is very true that those who are born again are not just litral Jews
they are from all nations ,and it is a circumcision of the heart , they dont need to be litrally circumcised. and they dont all need to be litral Jews .

even though of cause litral Jews are among the 144,000 spiritual Jews

but they are from all nations

To the one that conquers I will grant to sit down with me on my throne, even as I conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne revelation 3;21

the kingdom is a heavenly kingdom Daniel 2;44 and those who are part of the 144,000 will be with Jesus .
it is in heaven, that is why Jesus when in front of pilate told pilate ...my kingdom is not from this source..... no it is not an earthly kingdom it is in heaven

The hundred and forty-four thousand” seen standing with “the Lamb” on heavenly Mount Zion are said to have been “bought from the earth,”
    revelation 14;1-4

being born again means calling on the name of the lord and saviour, jesus christ, and asking for forgiveness and salvation out of a humble and sincere heart.
