Greetings Postmaster, a clarification if I may??
If there are any implications concerning Christians in the Original Post it is limited to those Christians in the country of Serbia, who are members of the Orthodox persuasion who are also priests at the particular church in question. I believe that this narrows down the parties quite a bit. Would you not agree?

why not beat them with shovels?
a good beating is sometimes a very effective message... we have no problem beating up "muslim terrorists", or "paedophiles" or "members of the BNP", do we..? why should junkies escape?
what should we do with junkies? we can play nicey-nicey, and pretend we understand, but do we really?
If you have a dog, and the dog sheets on the floor, and you tell it "don't do that, Max", does the dog listen?
If you take the dog, and rub his nose in the sheet, will he sheet again?
And if it works for dogs, then why not junkies?
I have both lived and worked with the homeless... in the UK, there is no need for anybody to be homeless... most people who are homeless are drug addicts... while the causes of drug abuse are supposedly complex, they are not, and they encompass just three domains-
greed, lack of willpower, and desire for escape...
its that simple... u decide to take drugs, u decide to take drugs to the extent you become a junky, you don't have the desire/strength to get off it, and you take what you take to escape reality...
the reality of drug addiction..?
burglary...prostitution...street robbery...muggings... shoplifting...shuffling around the streets like a zombie, stinky, covered in blood where the needle spray has made contact with your clothes... how about...
setting fire to your own house so you can get money from the state for new furniture, and your own small baby dies upstairs from smoke inhalation?... how about...
selling your kids to the local paedophile so you can buy smack?... how about...
deliberately looking for vulnerable, homeless non-junkies so you can get them on heroin and put them on the street selling themselves so YOU don't have to go and steal and sell your ass so much?
these are all real stories... when I was a homeless person and shooting up smack this is what I saw...
did I mug ppl in the street for smack? no... did I sell my ass? no... did I commit burglary? no... did I shoplift? no... did I break into comercial businesses and steal stuff? yes... were the pimps very friendly to me? yes... fresh meat, they said I was... did they want to take me out and show me a good time? of course they did...
the first time I took heroin I was 14... I lived in a childrens home... the staff sat in the room next door while we kids smoked the brown next door...
did I instantly become an addict? no... I would go so far as to say I was never a heroin addict... I took it purely for recreational purposes- after dancing all night on E in a nightclub, we would smoke brown to come down... at 14 I was smoking it for fun... at 19 I was injecting it, for fun...
and it never did me any harm at all... as I am not the kind of person who would lower myself to become a whore, or a house breaker... I have standards...
you make the choice to become a smackhead- heroin doesn't jump out from behind a lamppost and cosh you and drag you away...
u, the individual, decides to take it... to become a junky takes effort... it doesn't happen overnight, it takes weeks of daily usage before you become an addict... and when you are an addict-
the come down is like having influenza for four days and a head cold for another three...
wow, so hard... so unendurable...
so, all this- aw, lets feel sorry for them... they can't help it... well, actually, they can...
There's lots of wooly minded fools who make the assumption that drug addicts are victims, and are to be pitied... they cite the causes of drug addiction to be poor childhoods, broken homes, mental illness, etc etc, but the causes of drug addiction are just three..
