Gosh, a conspiracy, who would have thought.
The gov't is our friend, right Avi.
They only do what is good for us and always have our best interests at heart.
It is so comforting to know that we have such benevolent, compassionate and competent persons watching over us.
All that conspiracy stuff has all been "thoroughly" debunked and nary a shred of truth to it.

i am starting to realize why egyptians used pictures and not words...

The gov't is our friend, right Avi.
They only do what is good for us and always have our best interests at heart.

Oh, come on Shawn, you have read enough of my posts to know that I am not a big government fan. As I said in my post, I am just showing a response from the other side. I think it is always interesting to examine both sides of the story.

I think Zeitgeist to be factually representing the truth of power politics in the US but fails to recognise that the US mafia's are not the only ones in operation. Global context is critical to changing anything.
I agree with much of the end of it, especially the need to evolve systems not based on money and artificially imposing scarcity in the anything but free market. But on the downside it is almost as technicolor idealist as a JW pamphlet. No attempt to propose a mechanism to move toward the stated goals is offered.
Overall I would say if you have not watched the two Zeitgeist movies you have done yourself a disservice and should go watch them now. The evidence provided is done so not by nutjob conspiracy theorists but by ordinary people outraged by the audacity of the events of 9/11. If you can ignore this evidence then you do not want to believe it ...pure and simple. An understandable position because the truth makes this world a much darker place.

Actually avi I do agree with much of what they present.
I have watched it several times (but that was over a year ago)
But it is mostly just a primer to give ignorant people the basics on how the system of people control really works, religion, money, propaganda/media.

Power to the people.

Used to be rose tinted glasses, but now the euphemism should be VR goggles.

I dont feel like the ideas are new, but I feel the presenataion was user friendly..Meaning that the the average person can relate to it. No I am not on board with the conspiracy theory. Most of the "conspiracy" part I alredy knew about. i.e. monetary system etc.. Its what fresco was saying that peeked my interest. His words expressed my own thoughts years ago..It was a documnetary that helped me realize that I was not alone about what I observed years ago.
