I wonder what the late Senator John McCain and the late President George Bush would think of what's going on with Drumpf and Company (the shutdown over the border wall and the abrupt withdrawal of troops from Syria and Afghanistan, not to mention all of the firings/quitting of qualified people in the cabinet and other rather important positions.)

An impromptu press conference with Pelosi and Schumer. I'll let them speak for themselves:

I'm shaking my head in disbelief right about now.

    Two things on Drumpf:

    1) A Washington Post article concerning how many times he's made either false or misleading claims in his first 700 days in office averaged around 10.78/day (I did the math with the figures the author/s presented)

    2) Drumpf still wants his wall across the southern border, disregarding the fact that there are areas that aren't conducive to a safe concrete wall, like southern California (earthquakes and wildfires,) Texas and Oklahoma (new earthquakes and annual hurricanes) and other similar problems.

I wonder if he'd care if someone close to him found themselves on the receiving end of a major natural disaster causing his "beloved" wall to collapse on them, leaving them trapped at least. I won't post what the worst-case scenario could be...

Possible good news from this side of the pond ...

The media pundit opinion (for what it's worth) is that Trump will be gone before the end of 2019. It won't be impeachment per se, nor the reappearance of the Democrats. They reckon it will be by a move inside the Republican Party to get rid of him before he does too much further damage.

The lever will be the Trump family finances which will come under state scrutiny ...

Our president was not only required by the courts to dismantle the charity he created and then abused for personal gain...but is banned from ever being in the board or having control of any nonprofit charity again. But still gets to screw up the country.

I've been thinking the GOP would come to their senses for a while, but any time any republican speaks out the rest chastise him and the lemmings scream RINO.

I agree with Morning Joe's question here:

I don't know about anyone else on the forum, but I do know what it's like firsthand.

I wonder what his brain will show in an autopsy...

Relax, I have no intention of doing something that'll effect the :kitty: delegation.

He's shut down the government, now he's going to declare a state of emergency. It's crazy.

A moment of merriment on Twitter was scrolling through the comments when Trump announced the Mexicans had bigger, better, faster vehicles than the US border forces. Cue clips from Mad Max, Star Wars Imperial Walkers, Transformers ...
