Baha'is around the world have observed the Nineteen Day Fast in the month of 'Ala (Loftiness) and are now celebrating our New Year! The year is 174 of the Baha'i Era. Naw-Ruz is the ancient Persian New Year held on the Vernal Equinox ... the first day of Spring!

After fasting for nineteen days.. Naw Ruz is an especially joyous occasion!
