With recent inquiries regarding basics of religions... I thought...basics?

Then I thought can you tell anyone about a religion in a paragraph?

A sentence?

How about two words?

Tao....the way
Christianity....Jesus Saves
Judaism.....G!d is
Islam...final Prophet (five pillars?)
Hinduism
Buddhism
Bahai
Zoroastrianism ...One God
Shintoism
Wicca

None of those are perfect.... I need help. (But you knew that!)

My religion....my way. (What resonates)

Hinduism: Sanatana Dharma

Sanatana means eternal. Unfortunately, there is no single word translation for dharma into English. It is the sum of cosmic order/duties/law/conduct.

The full expression is "Satyam vada, dharmam chara" (Speak truth, go by dharma). But I think 'Satyam vada' is superfluous, since speaking truth by itself is a part of dharma.

Essence of all the religions:
Knowledge about personality of God, developing devotion to God and service to God without expecting anything in return from Him.

Four posts removed because this is THE TWO WORDS Religious Descriptions thread! What don't you understand about not abusing our website to preach?
