Seasons greetings to all of my CR friends old and new. Just wanted to send along my blessings and well wishes for the holidays before I leave town for a while. I'll be back online after New Years and in the meanwhile I will miss reading all of your wonderful posts.

So have a great Holiday and best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year!

Hey Laurie Lunamoth--

Have a safe and wonderful trip! Hope you can make it out of the airport on time ;). Come back and tell us about your travels. And enjoy the Holy Days and all the joy of the season!

Yes a celebration for all, a new birth within, longer days, a new year, all these celebrations of life, renewal, and wisdom....gotta love it.

Get your calendar clear and ready, it is all coming whether you believe or not!

peace and blessings,

Yes...the light is returning, and we celebrate the renewal of the world and ourselves. And we remember the beginnings of a man who taught us all so much about what it means to be a human being on Earth.

Thanks for all of your work and assistance on the forum Luna, and to the rest of you, enjoy your families, enjoy yourselves, and have happy lives in the years to come.

Best Wishes to all, and to all a good night.

yes, well said Lunamoth... peace to all, happy hanukkah to the jews, happy christmas to the xtians, merry solstice to all the pagans/wiccans, and a bright noel to the frogs!
Happy happy, merry merry!

Christmas Whiskey Cake

1 cup butter

2 cups sugar

6 large eggs

2 teaspoons baking powder

3 cups flour, sifted

1/2 t. salt

1 cup bourbon

1 pound pecans, chopped

3 cups white raisins (or use candied fruit)

1 t. nutmeg

~ a very large bottle of bourbon whiskey ~

First, sample the whiskey to check for quality.

Assemble all of the ingredients. Check the whiskey again.

To be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink.

Repeat this step.

Turn on the electric mixer and beat one cup of butter in a large

fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar and cream until beat.

Make sure the whiskey is still okay... try another cup.

Turn off the mixer. Beat six leggs and add to the bowl,

then chunk in the cup of dried flut. Mix on the tuner.

Throw in two quarts of flour. Gradually pour in the cow.

Add 2 dried anything.

If the fried druit gets struck in the beaters, pry it loose with

a drewscriver. Sample the whiskey and check it again for tonsistency.

Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something. Who cares???

Check the whiskey again.

Now sift the nutmeg and strain your nuts. Add one table.

And the spoon. Of whiskee. Or something. Whatever you find left.

Grease the oven.

Turn the crake pan to 350 degrees. Don't forget to beat off the turner.

Pour the oven into the batter. Throw the bowl out the window.

Lick the batter off the floor.

Bake 300 minutes at 50 degrees.

Finish the blobble of whishy and flow to bed.
Blessed Christmas to you and yours, lunamoth (the lunamoths have a few things waiting for your return, but they won't tell me [plus, I don't understand lunamothese. :D])

Nice hat, Santa-Cav!

(Oh, and I just ran across this quite by accident: A Belated Happy Birthday wish to Seattlegal :)).

Edited to add: (Now I'm curious). And Path_of_One! And bodhi mindisfree! (Still looking--LOL--what have I gotten myself into here? And there are some coming up, as well!)

And IMSassafras!

Well--edit time has run out--I wound up looking through the member's list (you knew I would, right?) for birthdays after I ran across SG's. So--there are some who are no longer here (at least not posting). If you're out there, and I missed your birthday, Happy Birthday, anyway! But here's a fairly current posting member from December--Happy Belated Wishes, soulatom! And n4h1z. :)

And so, in a day or two, I will need to get back on here and say the same to a couple of others? Nah--I'm just going to go ahead and wish Cage a great one!

(And I'm never doing this again! LOL! There's more to it than meets the eye!)

Happy holidays, and thank you InLove for your wonderful birthday wish. I'll be 36 on Friday, lol! 4 more to 40 OMG!

I Love you guys; you've all been a great influence in my life these past few months . . .
