    Luke 24:12

But Peter arose and ran to the tomb; and stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves; and he departed, marveling to himself at what had happened.

Not quite sure I follow. I do know that for every door that closes before me, two more seem to open up (and if not doors, then a window).

NO- you do with Gods help-if you ask for it. It's usualy possible for you to do it without God's help as well...

I'll bet He couldn't wait for dawn so He could rip that stone back!

Just as He can't wait for us to turn to Him so He can tear away our burdens.

How about stones that refuse to budge without Divine intervention?

Adam and Eve wore itchy fig leaves until God gave them animal skins ro cover with. So yes, you can do it yourself, but God usually does it better.

    Re: The miracle

    Hi
The miracle is that Jesus got healed from the medicines Nicodemus applied on him. When he gained consciousness and enogh stregth to imbark upon a journey to Galilee, he himself or his secret friends hurled the stone.
    Thanks

Well now, this is my own opinion on immovable objects, and irresistable forces. I think God puts no obstacle or burden in front of a man so great that that man can't "with the Grace of God", handle it. Notice I didn't say God took care of the trouble, just that God gives the man the Grace to handle the trouble.

I am reminded of the "Serenity" Prayer.

Anyway, I follow the philosophy of McGuiver. There is always a way to get the job done. ;)

High Explosives seem to be a good workable answer for me- but you have to shape them and place them 'just so'- or risk turning yourself to red gooy mess...:D

Another contemplation is what stones do we roll in the way of our growth?

It seems most often the stumbling blocks, the thing that stops us from moving forward is put in our way....by us.

So if we are to be resurected anew....what do we need to move aside?
(or ask for assistance in moving aside)

    Beautiful contemplation :)
Step one: With God's help, transform your mind...

"Study is a specific kind of experience in which through careful observation of objective structures we cause thought processes to move in a certain way...When done with concentration, perception, and repitition, ingrained habits of thought are formed."- from: Love God with All Of Your Mind: the role of reason in the life of the soul.

Step two: Never, ever forget step one.

One prayer I utilize which fits your bill...
Father, lead me, guide me, show me, the way.
    I am willing to follow.
Move me, shake me, mold me.
Reveal in me that which needs to be revealed.
Heal in me that which needs to be healed.
I love you G-d with all my heart, all my soul and all my strength.
Thank you for all your love and blessings.

    Namaste Faithful Servant,

I hear you, but I usually end with an 'and so it is' or if in the mood a joyful, 'and that's the truth!'...

I work heavily with interfaith, and with Boy Scouts, where in the scout law it is required to be reverent, but also respectful of others beliefs. So while we have Catholic and Protestant Chaplain (2 as scouts(boys) and 2 scouters(adults)) they all end prayers with Amen...no "in Jesus name we pray" even though our grandmother taught us that praying without the tag line was like bread without butter...Scouting teaches us that reverence to G-d does not mean Christian. So while our troop is 100% Christian and about 50/50 Catholic/Protestant ratio, we are prepared to have a Taoist or Buddhist or Jew or Hindu in our midst and have them feel welcome as well.
