Salaam,
I know that Br. Thomas has some great information and texts on his page but has anyone else here studied the Divine Hierarchies of Dionysius the Areopagite?- one of the most important books in all Christendom. Yes indeedy, in the year 800 as a coronation gift, Dionysius the Areopagite's books were presented to Charlemagne when he was crowned Holy Roman Emperor by the Byzantine emperor, Michael.
With the system hierarchical beings handed down to us from St. Paul through the successors of Dionysius the Areopagite, Bishop of Athens, we are allowed to view how the eternal Trinity manifests Itself in time and cosmic events come to pass.
The danger as with pantheism, is to mistake the reflection for the Reality. According to Valentin Tomberg the three primal cosmic Persons are represented in this way through the spiritual hierarchies:
The seven Elohim are the revealers of Christ in the cosmos."
Our Beloved Michael was the "face" of Christ but not Christ in essence, but "he who goes before". Michael is also the Archangel of the Sun.
Christ was revealed through Michael, but is the Logos, as it states in the prologue of St. John:
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
BTW Michael is not a creative god- "Kumara", I think is the word in Hindu terminology.
Jehovah-Michael was the Folk spirit over Israel.
Just as we have hands and feet, so the Christ has hierarchical beings as constituents of His Holy Being. These beings act in total accordance with the will of Christ. We can also talk of an Angelic being as a manifestation of Christ.
"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in
earth, visible and invisible, whether they be Thrones, or Dominions, or
Principalities, or Powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"
Colossians 1:16

"The Seraphim belong to the hierarchy of the Father, within which they
are representatives of the Son.
The Cherubim represent the Spirit, within the hierarchy of the Father.
The Thrones are pure representatives of the Father-principle.
The Dominions/Kyriotetes are Father-spirits, with the hierarchy of the Son.
The Dynameis are representatives of the Holy Spirit, within the hierarchy of the Son.
The Exousiai (Elohim) are pure representatives of the Son, within the hierarchy of the Son.
The Archai are Father-spirits, within the hierarchy of the Holy Spirit.
The Archangels are Son-spirits, within the hierarchy of the Holy Spirit.
The Angels are pure representatives of the Holy Spirit."
The seven Elohim are the revealers of Christ in the cosmos."
