God Is Love: Charles Flowers, the director of the no-nonsense Christian camp Love Demonstrated Ministries, was arrested in August and charged with dragging a 15-year-old camper on her stomach behind a van after she either could not or would not keep pace on a morning run. Mike Huckabee). Said Drake: "The Bible says that if anybody attacks God's people ... children will become orphans and wives will become widows." [Los Angeles Times, 8-16-07]

Nut cases can be Christian also. You know that. Is there more to the story?
Yes, it is about taking action and shining light on issues that are close to us. It is about not being hypocritical. I've been vocal of late indicating that as Muslims if they disagree with Osama and Al Queda and terrorists activities they should say so.

Well what is good for the goose is good for the gander. And when we have our own out there making grevous mistakes....while I believe we should forgive them and give them the opportunity to correct wrongs, we should also make it known that these activities are not acceptable in our eyes.

I think it is one thing if your average run of the mill Christian church goer makes a mistake or commits a crime. But when a leader of children and a preacher from the pulpit proceed in this manner it is heinous.
