(don't worry I am not in the business of trying to convert anyone but do tend to waffle on a bit when I think someone has a misconception about Islam, that is my way of opening minds, if that doesn't work I revert to the naughty spot and if that also fails I just hit people with a big stick until they give in

).
I have a feeling you are going to fit right in here.
I guess we best add waffles to the menu, then, 'cause I don't know so very much about Islam at all. Set the stick aside, though. Just set out some basic concept(s) of Islam that you think people have to get (no links please.) In your own words, what is it you don't think people are appreciating about Islam (I gather this is your chosen belief?) Then we can start off on the right foot. "Oh my gosh, she took a might swing and missed, I was just too fast. But in her rage she connected dead on with this mornings bacon, freshly sliced from the slab. I was just experimenting with tasting some almonds in the heavy oil when the stick came crashing down. Accenting the strong sent of bacon that permeated the kitchen was an aromatic and colorful batch of "bacon bits w/Almonds" that managed to fly so high in the air upon impact that they came to rest suggestively back in the frying pan. It got everyone in the mood for their Islam 101 lesson.
