5000...again

*the :kitty:s discretely leave the party with their wagons, returning just as discretely with cheesecakes and various pies to replenish the dessert table. One quietly "informs" lunamoth of the lunamoth cheesecake (which is actually a grasshopper cheesecake but renamed in honor of the lunamoth delegation, including their human representative)*

Methinks the kitty delegation deserves their own treats:

Well heck, they still bring us treats even after they are mistakenly used as loofah sponges/back scratchers. I think that deserves a token of appreciation.

Salute to the kitty delegations! :)

Woo-hoo! Finally! The first day of summer has arrived, and the current temperature in my area is finally warm!!
80.8 °F / 27.1 °C
Clear skies, too! :)

{I'll say that deserves a drink!}

Does that mean we might actually get to see you in a swimsuit before long, rather than huddled under all those towels in the sauna?

Inch and a half of snow in Michigan on a couple-mile stretch of Interstate 75 yesterday. Actually, it was a hail storm, but the hail pellets quickly turned real small, indistinguishable from a hard snow, and there was an absurd amount of accumulation despite temperatures in the 70's (20's Celsius) until the sun came out and it all started steaming away. One of my morning radio jocks had driven through it and was all freaked out about; he was glad to get callers confirming that it had been real so he didn't have to worry that he had been through an acid flashback.

How bizarre!

Was listening to the news about the N. Calif. fires, supposedly over a thousand of them, ignited by a freak "dry" lightning storm that passed by over the weekend.

You musta missed lunch again, SG, or else you would be taking such lovely, enviable temperate temperatures so hard.

But it's not too late for wild mushroom and goat cheese strudel with herb pesto...

Thanks!

Tomorrow, it's supposed to get up to 90 degrees. {Please pardon my skepticism, Mr. Weatherman! :rolleyes:}

Wednesday I was actually able to wear a dress to work rather than pants for the first time in... well, since I got here last fall? LOL

Oooo, maybe I'll go for two whole days of warmth in one week and wear a dress tomorrow too! :D

OK, what's up with that? Doesn't Seattle know the globe is *warming?* If you're not careful, ya'll might end up with the polar bear migration...seeing as to how Iceland doesn't want them.

BTW, that mushroom and cheese thingy looks mighty good!

Of course, I'd settle for a brownie... :D
