My New Pet Project

I am in the beginning stages of developing a website called "The Lost Faith". It has a slight religious undertone to it, being my Christian background, but it is not a "religious" site altogether.

It is structured in a manner where registered users can submit their own stories, articles, musings, and what not. The goal is to get people of all faiths and atheists alike to put away their differences, and come together as a body of individuals who desire to better our world for future generations.

If you would like to help out with the site structure, or if you might have ideas to make it more useful, please let me know.

If interested in joining, please do so and maybe even submit some of your own stories, musings, articles, etc.

Best of luck, but do watch out for spam - it's become absolutely huge on any User Generated Content website.

I'm using Simple Machine Forums for my message board, and have already been spammed twice, but all user submitted content on the site itself has to be approved before it is published.

I had to redo the entire website after switching from a windows server to linux which was a bugger, but I have the site back up and it is operational ... I just haven't been able to publish all the content that was on the site before I started over.

Thanks for the support, Brian. We'll see how it turns out. If it grows that would be great, and if it doesn't I still derive a sense of pleasure from working on it. Win win either way, bro. Of course I would prefer an active site, lol.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to bridge the message board with the site yet, so separate registrations are still necessary.
