The Trinity is One God, not Three Gods

Hi Wil —
Ok let's go with the one real reality....
OK

It is still we who create it.
The cosmos was there before man.
What we make of it is subjective, but it, in itself, is existentially real.

If G!d meant man to fly he would have given us wings....
I suggest that belongs in the 'old greybeard' idea of God.

If I can conceive it and believe it, I can achieve it...
But you can't sustain it, nor even yourself, in eternity ...

Mind....idea....expression....
As I said, there are myriad examples of the triune idea, but that does not correlate with the Trinity.

Everything in the physical world was first an idea...
OK

a dinve idea....
OK

desire ... de sire ... of the father.
That's somewhat anthropological, we're back to old greybeard again. The definition of God is that which is Absolute, Infinite, Perfect ... so, by definition, God is not subject to any contingent state, such as desire.

So divine idea I can accept, but not because of any desire, which suggests contingency, finitude and potentiality-to-be — that's not God.

God bless,

Thomas
