Hi Wil —
What we make of it is subjective, but it, in itself, is existentially real.
So divine idea I can accept, but not because of any desire, which suggests contingency, finitude and potentiality-to-be — that's not God.
God bless,
Thomas
OKOk let's go with the one real reality....
The cosmos was there before man.It is still we who create it.
What we make of it is subjective, but it, in itself, is existentially real.
I suggest that belongs in the 'old greybeard' idea of God.If G!d meant man to fly he would have given us wings....
But you can't sustain it, nor even yourself, in eternity ...If I can conceive it and believe it, I can achieve it...
As I said, there are myriad examples of the triune idea, but that does not correlate with the Trinity.Mind....idea....expression....
OKEverything in the physical world was first an idea...
OKa dinve idea....
That's somewhat anthropological, we're back to old greybeard again. The definition of God is that which is Absolute, Infinite, Perfect ... so, by definition, God is not subject to any contingent state, such as desire.desire ... de sire ... of the father.
So divine idea I can accept, but not because of any desire, which suggests contingency, finitude and potentiality-to-be — that's not God.
God bless,
Thomas
