Greetings

Hi!
A particular religion? Not really. I guess if I had to pinpoint it down, I would have to say I am pagan-christian. I know. Kinda strange.;)

Is this a relatively new board? Seems a bit quiet.

Namaste and welcome Enola

Strange? Not for our merry band of travelers.

:)

Quality over quantity.
Now many of us here are working on quelling our egos, statements like this might not be taken kindly.

This nontheistic Christian panentheist would love to hear some comments in discussion from the pagan-christian...

Hello Enola. I'm Dream, and my most-used thread is the pseudo haiku thread. I sometimes post profound and amazing points in the Abrahamic area and occasionally will wander into other areas expressing both wit and insight. My favorite color is green. My pet peeve is having to drive in traffic at night, and if I were an animal I'd probably be a bear. Welcome and look forward to hearing from you.

I think I remember someone asking about pagan-christians a month or two ago, I have no idea where though, tried the search engine yet?

Path of One (sharp poster) still occasionally visits, and she says she's a Christian Druid. In my mind I envision Christian Pagans -- what that might mean. In the vacuum of not-knowing the meaning, there appears in my imagination gold goblets of wine, startled hairy faces, amazonian clothing and firelight. I'm not sure what these three things have to do with it, but I think they are syncretic and Jungian symbols. Don't you?

I wonder what its like to go to interfaith.org and log in using the name 'Snoopy'. What do you suppose is the psychological effect of doing that? It could be significant.

There appears to be no psychological effect, significant or otherwise. :D

Oh dear. Bumping old threads always makes my stomach turn over; in case the thread includes stuff from when I was a Born Again Raptured Creationist. Or BARCing for short.

Oh how interesting, I'll go and dig around. Didn't bob x also do a 180 in his beliefs? If we are to trust his fantastic stories!

I'm so sorry I didn't respond sooner. Lost the darn link and just now found it again.

Pagan Christian, to me anyway, is someone who doesn't follow the bible and takes what was written with a grain of salt...but still drags the christian God and Jesus around with them. That's me. Sort of.
