True only if Jesus was a Greek and not a Jew. Judaism which was the Faith of Jesus does not teach that a man can be son of God without a human biological father. It means that Jesus was son of Joseph. To be son of God yes, but as part of the People and not as an individual. (Exod. 4:22,23)

No, it does not! But it may certainly be what you have been lead to believe! We have all been hoodwinked by a council of so-called "Elders" which was called and chaired by a heathen emperor in 325 C.E. After 1700 years I believe we should wake up and go back some 300 years before Nicea to the basics of Yehoshuah, the Jew!

If, in a interfaith forum, a person is acting in an anti-christian manner then the person can be called out on it. I don't know how much you have read from Shibolet but there are many who believe he is here just to accuse Christianity of anything he can.

The best way to deal with a troll like Shibolet is just put him on your Ignore List. Trolls crave attention, any attention, so ignoring them will eventually cause them to go away. Once you have determined that someone is a troll, no, continually calling them out is not the way to go.
 
I'm not very bothered by him myself, I understand that other may want me to ignore him so that he will tire. But I think he is more of a crusader, always push his own conviction on other (perhaps like myself?). I take it as lessons in reasoning.

Yes, that is another way to look at it, dealing with a 'crusader' and a chance to practice reasoning.

I would add that, for many Christians, etc., 'pushing one's own convictions on others' (proselytizing) is an acceptable way to spread their religion.

Welcome Alluvial.... You are correct...in an interfaith site the Anti - Christian/Muslim/Jew/Hindu/Sufi/Bahai/whatever....should not come up... But when one repeatedly beats on another religion denying its basic tenants (like BJN) or saying it is a complete plagiarized farce (like Shib-ben) it is worthy of pointing out the elephant in the room and identifying the source of contention.
 
Thx, wil. Yes, you may be right, but ele's are huge and they tend to overshadow reality! Let's focus on the issue and not the elephant!
 
Interesting observation....

Over my time on this site we've seen many a prophet and conversionist... none stand the test of time...but unfortunately a lot of good discussion gets side tracked or squashed and a lot of wonderful contributors tire and move on...

Such is the bane of an open society...

You are wrong COT, Shibolet is here rather to stand for the Faith of Jesus which was Judaism. It is about the time one could show up to say the real truth about what Jesus really was. Believe it or not, you could not deny that Jesus was a Jew. Why vandalize his Faith with the gospel of Paul?

Well, Nick, the only thing you have succeed to convey with this post is that Christians don't have what it takes to discuss the truth with a Jew, member of the same Faith of Jesus'.

I know Shib, and if thought you would listen I would try and show what is actually contested, but you are a broken record, obsessed with what is only in your head.
