I think the people your daughter meets on the street are more likely to need to discuss their mental health needs than their religious needs. Is this how your daughter sees it?

The street pastors aren't there to discuss religious needs, or to discuss anything really. They are there to ensure the safety of people who get themselves blind drunk or stoned and leave themselves in a vulnerable position.

The street pastors are people of faith, who help the police deal with the results of over indulgence after a night out, especially young women! I think the word 'pastor' is unfortunate as it gives the wrong impression of their role.
