What's in your Spam Folder?

Got a good one in my spam folder today. The text said that my Walmart Gift Card was ready. However hovering over the text revealed the true sender, someguyfarting.xyz! What's the world coming too? Even the spammers aren't trying very hard anymore.:D

I've just finished cleaning out three Spam boxes, and there were several in Japanese or Hebrew text (both Yahoo and GMail) while I cleaned out several in Russian and Arabic in my school account. *headdesk*

More sh!t about "enlarging"/"enhancing"/"entertaining the ladies"/etc. Oh, and offers for credit cards/"You've just won $(insert stupid amount of money with too many zeros to be legit)/"Nigerian '419' scams"/etc.

I feel that, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I know! I sometimes wonder whether I should buy all the meds I'm offered, become some kind of priapic superhero, and then contact all the East European ladies who're apparently 'gagging' (English vernacular) to meet me ...

The drugs, sex, scandal and amazing offers I can understand, it's the constant flow of drivel, sometimes incoherent nonsense, that I get ... what is the point of that?

I get all my pet meds, Frontline an such, from a Canadian supplier since they're less than half the price of US vendors. The firm I deal with is quite reputable, but you end up on everyone else's email list, whether through them of Yahoo. Not sure which. Now, my spam folder is flooded daily with phony, offers to buy pet supplies from companies with sound-a-like names.

I get stuff for "enhancement" pharmaceuticals and Russian "brides". *shakes head in disbelief*

I mean like balancing your check book...anyone found anything valuable?
I sometimes find confirmation emails for legitimate purchases that get sent to spam.

Got a rash of fishing type emails with 'Confirm Order' in the subject line. One listed as being sent by Walmart, another from Amazon, etc. etc. All however actually came from the same linkedin email address! Beware, tis the season to be scammed. Ho, Ho, Ho!!!
